A vintage 1940s sun top with smocking and elastic. It has neck ties that attack in the front. The striped fabric feels like cotton.

Bust: 22-42" (unstretched to stretched)
Waist: 26" unstretched and has a lot of stretch--this part of the garment is a little more stretched out than the bust -- see condition notes below
Length: 16"
Condition: Very good. On one side of the top, it appears the elastic has come away from where it was attached to the seam and so the smocking isn't tightly scrunched anymore--most noticeable at back left waist (see last two pics). When the top is on and stretched to fit wearer, this would be much less noticeable. I have secured the elastic to the fabric, which means it should not pull away further.
