A vintage 1940s hooded raincoat in a trench style with a double row of buttons down the front--one is functional, and the other is decorative. The jacket also has a belt back with ties in the front, hip pockets, and buttons on the sleeve cuffs. The hood of the jacket is removable -- it buttons onto the jacket. The jacket was made by Atlas Raincoat Manufacturing Company. The fabric is a striped satin fabric (with a sub in brown with black stripes -- I'm guessing it's a treated rayon fabric.

Condition: Very good. Faint marks in a number of places, commensurate with the utilitarian nature of garment--most noticeable is near one of the top buttons; marks don't jump out because of faintness and fabric pattern. A small hole near front hem that doesn't jump out because of location. Jacket has been cleaned.
