A vintage 1950s Parade grommet dress, made famous by Marilyn Monroe. This dress has a wrap-around bodice and fastens with hooks and grommets at the neck and waist. It also has a full skirt and back metal zipper. The fabric is cotton and has a print in brown, black, and white.
Bust: best for around a 38" bust (the bust of the dress was a bit too large for my dress form that has a 36.5" bust)
Waist: 29"-snug 30"
Length: 44" (from top of bodice, not including strap)
Condition: Very good. A few mends on bodice--a small mended hole and added seam--that are covered by fabric because of the wrap bodice. A couple tiny mended holes just above hem that aren't visible because of location and the print of the dress. There is also some chipping to the enamel of the hooks and grommets. See close-up photos. Dress presents beautifully!
