A pair of WWII-era WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) jeans. This pair of 1940s denim pants has front and back pockets, side buttons, and a buckleback. (They were hemmed shorter during their history, but the current length is their original hem.)
Size: small
Waist: 26" (top button could be moved to fit a 26.5", maybe a snug 27")
Hip: 40" (10" down from top of waistband)
Length: 43.5"-44"
Front rise: 14"
Back rise: 18.5"
Inseam: 30.5"
Condition: Very good. Denim is dark (not a lot of wash and wear fade) and sturdy. Pants legs were hemmed, but I took out the hems because they were unevenly done. There are fade/stitching lines where the old hem was.
