A vintage 1930s silk gown with a gathered bust and inset fabric at the waistband and front shoulders -- at the waistband the inset fabric makes a design like a sideways "8", and at the shoulders, the inset fabric is a floral pattern. The main fabric is a silk crepe that is so lightweight it's almost chiffon-like. The inset fabric is silk satin. The fabric is an aqua/mint green (it looks aqua to me in some lights and mint green in others). The gown fastens with ties that are attached in back and wrap around and tie in front. This gown is expertly handmade.
Size: medium to large (while the gown is adjustable, the bust has a lot of fulness that will look too large on a small bust)
Bust: best for ~38-42"
Waist: 31-32" max and will cinch smaller (the reason the back skirt does not lay flat in the photo is because I didn't realize there was an opening on the waistband for one of the waist ties--see last photo)
Hip: 54" with fabric at max, but meant to drape
Length: 52-53"
