A vintage late 1930s, possibly early 1940s, pink gown with a ruffled collar that extends into ties that tie at that the back waist. The gown has pin tucking on the collar, sleeves, and front waist as well as pleats on the front and back shoulders that create the gathering on the bodice. The sleeves and collar also have lace trim. The blush pink fabric is a silk satin.
Size: large to xxl
Bust: 50" at max, but meant to have some drape
Waist: 36" at rest, has give to 44" to fit over bust/shoulders, and, will tie smaller with waist ties
Hip: 60" at max, but meant to have some drape
Length: 57"
Shoulder: 17.5" from shoulder seam to seam
Condition: Very good. A couple small dark marks near side front hem that aren't noticeable when gown is worn because of location. Gown has been cleaned. Gown also has some tiny sewed tucks on back bodice that I originally thought were darns but that I think are part of the original design -- these get lost in the drape of the fabric.
