A black bias cut nightgown from the early 1940s, possibly late 1930s. The gown has a large collar, inset lace on the collar and hem, and lace trim on the sleeve openings. The gown fastens with a separate braided belt. The semi-sheer black chiffon fabric tests as silk, though it could be a silk blend.
Size: xs to s/m
Bust: up to 36" (fits the 32" bust model as shown)
Waist: up to 36" (will belt smaller)
Hip: up to ~40"
Length: 56"
Condition: Very good. A tiny white mark on the shoulder. Inset lace has a bit of fraying at the edges. These flaws are noticeable, but they don't jump out, and gown still presents well.
