A vintage 1930s knit rayon romper with ruffled trim and pin tucks on the front shoulders. The fabric is a lightweight, semi-sheer rayon knit, and is cream with a polka dot print and a light brown uneven "stripe" that's part of the background weave (see close up of fabric). The maker is Munsingwear.
Size: small to medium (romper has some flexibility in sizing because of the knit fabric--if you're on the small end of the measurement range, there will be some drape, and less drape if you're on the larger end of the measurement range).
Bust: best for 34-38"
Waist: best for 26-30"
Hip: up to 38"
Length (total length and torso length): 34"
Bodice length: 15"
Front rise: 16.5"
Condition: Very good. A few spots near right side seam at leg hem that aren't really noticeable because of print and location (see last two photos). Romper has been handwashed, but I didn't aggressively spot treat because I didn't want to risk damaging fabric. A handful of tiny pinholes.
