A vintage 1930s bias cut gown that has split flutter sleeves, a small collar, pintucking on the front bodice, and and an inset fabric pattern on the front bodice and sleeves. The gown has a separate belt, which is original, and which has patterning that matches the gown (see close-up photo). The peach fabric is a silk crepe, and the inset fabric decorations are silk satin. The gown is expertly handmade.
Size: small to s/m
Bust: best for ~34-37" (model has 32" bust and gown fits as shown)
Waist: adjustable with belt; has give to 32" to fit over bust/shoulders
Hip: up to ~46"
Length: 61-62"
Condition: Very good. A tiny hole on sleeve that gets lost in the fabric draping--I've applied a tiny amount of fray check in order to keep it from getting larger. A few faint spots about 2/3 down front skirt that get lost in fabric drape--these lightened when I cleaned gown but didn't lift. Gown presents beautifully.
