A vintage 1940s 3-piece playsuit with a cropped top, shorts, and skirt that could all be worn as separates. The top buttons up the front and has a gathered bust. The shorts button at the side. And the skirt also fastens with buttons and has a bottom ruffle. The fabric feels like cotton pique, and has an abstract print in pink, white, and chartreuse on a light blue background.

Size: small

Top:

Bust: best for 34-37" (it's difficult to get a precise measurement because of the gathering)

Waist (at cropped length): 29"

Length: 12.5"

Shorts:

Waist: 26-snug 27"

Hip: 41"

Length: 15.5-16"

Front rise: 15"

Back rise: 17.5"

Skirt:

Waist: 27-snug 28"

Hip: open

Length: 25"

Condition: Good with flaws--I'm being detailed in my description, but the set is still very cute and wearable! The top and shorts have a good amount of wear and are more faded than the skirt. There are also some scattered spots that didn't come out when I cleaned the set -- the two most noticeable are a spot above the front hem of the shorts (see next to last picture) and one near the side seam of the skirt (see last picture). While they're both noticeable, neither are glaring because of the print, and the other spots are much, much lighter and are only noticeable if you're up close to the fabric. The top also has a couple added tucks at the back neckline, likely to make it work for someone who was shorter in height or smaller in the shoulders. These could be let back out. Also, the buttons on the top don't match the shorts/skirt. I couldn't find a matching set of buttons that I liked for this set, so I found some buttons that were similar in color/size but different in style and put them on the top.
