A vintage silk gown from the 1940s. The gown has inset lace and ribbons at the neckline and at the tiered hem. It also has lace trim at the front waist, sleeves, and bottom hem. It has a small ribbon bow on the shoulder. The front bodice is gathered, and the back bodice and skirt are bias cut. It fastens with attached waist ties. The fabric is a cream silk satin.

Size: xs to xs/small

Bust: max bust is ~34" (shown unpinned on 32" bust model)

Waist: has give 32", but will cinch on smaller with waist ties

Hip: Best for ~36" or smaller

Length: 55" (model is 5'11", and gown would be longer on someone shorter in height).

Condition: Very good. A couple very small dents in fabric, common to older lingerie, that don't jump out. Lace at hem also doesn't hang 100% even (it's slightly higher on one side)--I'm not sure if this originates from when the gown was sewn, or if the bias cut over time has made it hang this way. Again, this doesn't jump out, and gown presents as excellent.
