A vintage lace dress from the 1930s with a ruffled "V" on the front bodice and tiered ruffled sleeves. The dress also has a flared, fishtail hem. The bias-cut fabric is a cream, spiderweb pattern lace that feels like cotton. The dress has no fasteners but will fit over shoulders/bust due to bias-cut fabric.

Size: xs to small

Bust: 32" at rest -- will likely work for up to 34-35" (waist seam needs to fit over shoulders/bust)

Waist: 26-34" (will need to fit over bust/shoulders when stretched, and will drape on smaller)

Hip: 35-42"

Length: 52" hanging straight (will hit shorter when dress is draped)

Bodice length: 14.5-15"

Condition: Very good to good. The dress presents beautifully, but the lace fabric is not in perfect condition. Some of the "fine" threads that create the spiderweb pattern have broken, most notably in the upper shoulder area. I have spent a good amount of time mending the dress--while I can't reproduce the original lace weave, I've interwoven cotton thread to mimic the original lace, both so that the areas where the fine threads have broken don't stand out and also to reinforce the lace overall (see last close-up photo). One final note: this dress is wearable, but would need to be worn with care due to delicate nature of fabric.
