A pair of French deadstock shorts from the 1940s. They fasten with three buttons on each side, and they have pleats and a back pocket that buttons. The fabric is a sturdy, navy blue cotton twill. The shorts are deadstock (with a deadstock tag on the back waist), and they also have a maker's tag that reads "Le Shanghai"
Size: small
Waist: 26"-snug 27"
Hip: 42"--however, the opening for the hips when buttons are undone is ~36", so I would say max hip is ~36-37"
Length: 16-16.5"
Front rise: 12.5"
Back rise: 15"
Condition: Excellent. I have not washed because of deadstock nature/attached tag.
