A 1930s brown silk velvet gown with cream inset lace on the dolman style sleeves. The dress has a cowl neckline, and a fabric belt that has an oval buckle with rhinestones. The gown fastens with snaps and a hook and eye on the side seam. The gown feels like it's bias cut, though the fabric doesn't have as much give as some other bias cut pieces.
Size: xs to s/m
Bust: difficult to measure because of dolman-style sleeves, but approximately 36" max (drapes well on model, who has a 32" bust)
Waist: 29", and will cinch smaller with waist tie
Hip: 42" (best for ~40" max)
Length: 56"
Condition: Very good. Velvet has an overall slightly crushed look from age, but it doesn't present as a flaw. A few tiny mends to lace on the top of the shoulders (see close-up photos for examples)--not noticeable because of small size of mends and location. Small mend to velvet near hem that is not noticeable because of location.
