An antique pink knit flannel jacket (fuzzy on the outside, and a jersey knit on the inside!). It has a large collar and slightly puffed sleeves that are cuffed. The collar, front, and sleeves have ribbon trim. It fastens up the front with decorative toggles and hidden hooks. The jersey knit fabric feels like wool, and the ribbon trim feels like silk. I believe the jacket is from the 1900s, and it has a department store label: "The Continental." I've never seen a piece like this before!
Size: approximately size small
Bust: 38" (best if wearer's measurement is smaller—i.e. 34-36”)
Waist: 32"
Length: 22" to longest point in front
Shoulder (from seam to seam): 15"
Sleeve length: 24"
Condition: Good to very good. Jacket is sturdy, but has a few flaws that are noticeable. Some wear/small holes to ribbon trim on front collar. Also, the jacket has areas of darkening in various places, which are subtle but noticeable. I have hand washed the jacket, but I don't like doing aggressive cleaning treatments on older garments. The jacket still is a stunning and rare garment.
