A vintage gown from the early 1960s. It has a Mademoiselle Ricci label, which was a demi couture line from Nina Ricci. The dress has an open back and fastens with a back tie and back zip. The fabric is a heavy woven fabric--likely a cotton or cotton blend (it feels almost like a drapery or upholstery fabric). It has a pattern in red and dark pink on a cream background. The dress is lined and has netting on the lower half of the skirt lining in order to give the skirt its structure. The dress also has a Lord and Taylor label.
Bodice length: just under 15"
Condition: Very good. A few small dark marks midway down side near side seam (see next to last photo)--not really noticeable because of print and location. A dark mark on one of the shoulder straps that isn't noticeable because of size and location (see last photo). I also had to repair the hem because it was coming undone, so it doesn't have the original hem stitching in places.
