A vintage embroidered set from the late 1920s--similar to Hungarian pieces from the time period, though I'm not sure of its origin. The set has two pieces--a slip and a top that covers the top of the slip. The top has elastics at the end of the sleeves and a tie at the front neck. The cream fabric is cotton and has embroidery in red, blue, and yellow.
Size: xs to small (bust of slip top is most restrictive measurement, but slip could likely be reconstructed to fit a slightly larger bust since the top of the slip is covered)
Slip:
Bust: 34"
Waist: 34"
Hip: 46"
Length: 41:
Top:
Bust: 40"
Waist at hem: 34"
Length: 24"
Sleeve length: 28" from collar to sleeve cuff
Condition: Very good. A few faint rust spots on lower half of skirt that have been treated (and lightened) that aren't really noticeable. A dark mark on right sleeve--it's noticeable, but because it's near the hem, it's not in a spot on the set where it jumps out at you.
