An antique jacket/bodice from the 1890s. It has no fasteners, so I'm assuming it may have been worn in cold weather over another layer. It would look great worn over another layer or belted as a top. The tan fabric is a cotton flannel, and has a beautiful, subtle striped weave (see close-up photos).
Size: xs to small
Bust: 34" with front sides touching--if worn slightly open would accommodate up to 36" bust
Waist: 30"
Length: 24.5"
Shoulder (from seam to seam, but there's some extra room because of the puffed sleeves): 13"
Sleeve length: 29"
Armscye: 7.25" across
Condition: Very good. A few missing stitches near hem, but overall the piece is in amazing condition for its age.
