An early 1940s striped gown with the most amazing pintucket detail on the bodice and upper skirt. The dress has cuffed sleeves and bows on the neckline. The dress has a full skirt and fastens with snaps on the side and hidden snaps on the front bodice. The orange and white striped fabric is crinkly, semi-sheer and feels like a cotton or cotton blend (maybe rayon?). The feel of the fabric is similar to organza/organdy but not quite.
Bust: 38" (meant to drape)
Length: 61/62" in front and 64" in back
Condition: Very good. One small hole on front hip that gets lost in fullness of skirt (see last pic).
