A vintage 1930s/1940s silk bias cut gown. It has a gathered bust, and lace on the upper shoulders, back upper bodice, and front waist. There is a blue ribbon behind the lace on the straps and on the waist, and at the waist, this ribbon continues into ties that tie at the back waist. The silk satin fabric is a dark cream, and the make is "Fischer."
Size: xs to medium
Bust: max bust is ~37-38" (model is a 32" bust, and gown fits her as shown)
Waist: will stretch to 35" to fit over bust/shoulders; will cinch smaller with waist ties
Hip: 46" at max, but best for 42" or smaller
Length: 60" (will fall shorter when worn because of bias cut)
Condition: Very good. A couple tiny dark marks, including one in the gathers of the bust (see last photo)--it hides in the bust gathering (as can be seen in photo #2). A few faint spots of faint yellowing and a pinhole on back skirt that aren't noticeable due to faintness/location. Gown has been hand washed and presents as excellent.
