A vintage late 1930s/early 1940s wool coat with large buttons down the front, a pointed collar, princess seams, shoulder pads, and side seam pockets. The coat is fully lined. The wool fabric is a woven blue and ivory.
Size: small to medium (wearer's measurements should be at least 2 inches smaller than measurements below since measurements were taken on exterior--the jacket is shown pictured unpinned on my 34-24-34 dress form, and it also fits my size s/m dress form)
Bust (measured on exterior): 40"
Waist (measured on exterior): 33"
Hip (measured on exterior): 44"
Length: 46"
Shoulder (from shoulder seam to seam): 16"
Sleeve length (from shoulder to hem): 24"
Condition: Very good. Lighter thread in coat weave is not pure white/ivory anymore. Some places are slightly yellowed, and some places have a slight blue tinge because of color bleed. The bottom button hole has been sewn up. There is a small mend on the right side of front bodice--you can see it if you're up close to the fabric and searching for it (see next to last photo), but it's mostly not noticeable when you're standing back from the coat (see last photo). None of these flaws jump out, and the coat presents well!
