A vintage dressing gown or house dress from the late 1930s, possibly early 1940s. This wrap style gown has puffed sleeves, a collar, one patch pocket at the hip, a large decorative button at the waist, and waist ties that tie in back (one wrapping through the dress). The fabric feels like cotton, and it has pastel floral stripes. The maker's tag is difficult to read, but I think it reads "Juliana."
Size: small (but will work for slightly larger/smaller because of wrap style)--shown unpinned on my 34-24-34 dress form
Bust: 38" max
Waist: 28" max
Hip: 38" max
Length: 53"
Bodice length: 17"
Condition: Very good. Slight fade on upper shoulders/collar--it was hard to capture in photos since the dress is a pastel color.
