A vintage 1930s bias cut nightgown with embroidery at the front neckline, straps that tie at the upper shoulders, sunburst seaming at the front side waist, and attached waist ties. The crepe, floral jacquard weave fabric is a pale/blush pink, and it tests as silk (it could possibly be a silk/rayon blend, but it tests predominantly as silk). Slip has a tag indicating it was made in China.
Size: xs to medium
Bust: ~38" max; shown unpinned on model, who has a 32" bust
Waist: will stretch to 41/42" to fit over bust/shoulders; ~25" at rest and will cinch smaller with waist ties (shown unpinned on model, who has a 24" waist)
Hip: 48" (best for 45/46" or smaller)
Length: 61-62" (will fall slightly shorter because of bias cut)
Condition: Very good. Bodice of nightgown is slightly lighter than the skirt, and has just a hint of yellowing (see last photo), which is not noticeable when the garment is worn. This piece has been hand-washed.
