A vintage 1930s black velvet dress with lame zigzags on the sleeves, a small bustle on the back skirt, a draped neckline, and puffed sleeves that fasten with rhinestone buttons at the cuffs. The black velvet fabric feels like a rayon velvet. (Note: I included padding in the sleeves in pics 1-3 to show how voluminous they are)
Size: xs to small
Bust: 35"
Waist: 30" (meant to drape/belt smaller--it's this large so it will fit over wearer's shoulders since there aren't any fasteners on the side seam)
Hip: 35-36"
Length: 47-48"
Condition: Very good. A few pinholes and slightly thinning spots on the skirt -- I only noticed them when I held the dress up to the light--they wouldn't be noticeable when the dress is worn. Also, dress appears to be homesewn, but any imperfections are hidden in the velvet. Finally, I have not had this dress cleaned because I do not have a dry cleaner I trust with older fabrics of this nature--however, the dress does not have any stains or odors.
