A vintage 1940s satin gown with a sweetheart neckline, tulip sleeves with padding in the sleeves, and ruffles on the front shoulders, neckline, and sleeve hems. The gown also has a full, bias cut skirt. The dress fastens with a side metal zipper. The fabric is a heavy satin with a vibrant floral print in red, green, black, and yellow. The fabric tests predominantly as rayon, but it might have a small amount of silk content.

Condition: Very good. Very faint color bleed on the white part of print, which doesn't jump out at you because the print is dominated by all the vibrant colors. I darned a handful of small holes on the upper back shoulders and one at the lower back waist. Because of the size of the holes and the busyness of the print, the mends aren't noticeable. This gown is striking, and presents as excellent.
