A vintage 1940s dress with a ruffle around the neckline and down the left front side of dress. The dress also fastens with buttons down the left side and has smocking at the front waist. The label reads, "Town and Country Club dresses." The woven butter yellow fabric is soft and feels like a rayon (meant to imitate cotton). It has a floral and umbrella novelty print.
Note: after photographing the dress, I found a fabric tie belt, which is in the same fabric as the dress
Size: small to medium
Bust: 38" at max (will drape on smaller)
Waist: 28-29" (will cinch smaller with belt)
Hip: open, but best for ~42" max
Length: 41.5"
Condition: Very good. A few faint pink areas near hem--likely color-transfer from another dress--not noticeable because of faintness and location. A few repairs mid-way down front skirt that aren't really noticeable because of print and drape of skirt. See last two close-up photos--second photo shows how the mends get lost in the draping.
