An incredible vintage 1950s denim sportswear dress by the designer Carolyn Schnurer, a well-known designer of mid-century American sportswear. The dress has red trim around the neckline and in stripes down the skirt, and the red stripes on the skirt create slight ruching in the light blue denim fabric. The dress zips up the back, and the bodice is lined.

Condition: Very good. I did not clean the dress because I didn't want to risk any color bleed with the red trim and I do not have a good professional cleaner. The dress has a handful of minor flaws that in no way detract: the hem looks like it was taken up slightly (which isn't noticeable from the outside of the dress), a few fabric flaws that are a natural part of the denim fabric, and there's a very faint yellow spot on the back bottom skirt that I had to search the skirt for a few times to find (see last close-up). The dress is striking and presents as excellent.
