A vintage 1930s bias cut silk gown. The body of the gown is a cream silk satin, and the sleeves and top of the front bodice is silk chiffon. The chiffon has pleats around the neckline, and there's lace trim at the neckline, sleeve hem, and on the bodice where the chiffon fabric meets the satin fabric. The gown fastens with a tie at the back, and has attached waist ties. The maker of the gown is "Yolande," and the gown is expertly hand made.
Size: xs to small
Bust: max bust is ~36" but will drape on smaller -- model's bust is 32" and gown fits as shown (the gown is tagged a size 38, so it might fit slightly larger than 36", but based on measuring, I think 36" or smaller would be best)
Waist: adjustable with waist ties; has give to 36" to fit over bust/shoulders
Hip: best for ~40" or smaller
Length: 63-64"
Condition: Very good. A couple extremely faint marks on side hip that lightened when I cleaned the gown but didn't completely lift--these aren't noticeable due to their faintness. A few scattered dents in fabric that don't jump out, and a tiny pinhole at back hem that isn't noticeable.
