A vintage early 1940s dress with a light blue horizontal pleated bodice insert, a light blue panel in the front skirt, gathered shoulders, puffed sleeves, dress clips, and an adjustable belt. The black fabric feels like rayon and has dots in red, yellow, and blue. The dress fastens with back neck buttons.
Bust: 42" at rest (the gathering gives the dress a little more room, though see the note below about the waist)
Waist: 37" (will cinch smaller with belt, but there are no fasteners at the waist, so this measurement will need to fit over the wearer's shoulders and bust)
Bodice length: 16"
Condition: Very good. Belt buckle has some fraying (see last pic). Dress clips (which are removable) have some missing stones. There are also a few tiny pinholes in dress where dress clips have been attached (they are removable).
