A vintage 1940s bias cut satin gown with a decorative tie at the front neckline and lace trim on the front bodice. It also has attached waist ties. The satin fabric is ivory and feels like rayon. The gown has a "Saks Fifth Avenue" label.
Size: xs to xs/small
Bust: could work for up to 36", but see waist measurement below (model measures 32" in the bust, and gown fits as shown)
Waist: has give to 31" to fit over bust/shoulders and will cinch smaller with waist ties
Hip: 36", but probably best for 34-35" max
Length: 57" (will fall slightly shorter when worn because of bias cut)
Note: this slip is best for someone who is petite in height -- it didn't drape as it should on my model because she is 5'11"
Condition: Very good. A few fabric flaws that don't jump out. Shoulder seams have been taken up in order to make the gown shorter, but this isn't noticeable when worn, and I didn't let these alterations back out because I believe the stitch marks would be noticeable.
